Colorwind Reviews Transformers: Devastation–The Bumblebee’s Knees

I didn’t grow up with the Transformers. I didn’t watch any of the cartoons, I didn’t get any of the toys, and I am not interested in the recent movies. So I don’t have any knowledge of the storyline or any connection with the various characters. Despite this, I had a blast playing Transformers: Devastation because it doesn’t require you to know this universe to have fun. If anything, it’s a great introduction to the series that is liable to motivate people to look for more. It succeeds in being a great representation of the franchise while also succeeding purely on its own merits simply because it’s just so much fun.

Discussing: Falling Behind The Next Generation

Last week, it was announced that Mortal Kombat X for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 was cancelled. After months of delays, last gen owners won’t be able to play the latest Mortal Kombat game. I was disappointed by this news as I’ve really wanted to play this game but don’t own a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or a strong enough PC. However, what was worse is this cancellation confirmed something to me I knew may be happening but wasn’t sure it definitely was: I’m officially falling behind. Discussing: My Issues With Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Next Gen

The next generation of consoles is nearly upon us. The PlayStation 4 will be out in about a week’s time and the Xbox One will be release a week after and everything with video gaming will revolve around these two consoles. However, while I will be reading up on the wonders of next gen and the problems that inevitably brings, I won’t be joining the next gen. At least not yet.
