Welcome back to My Gaming Landscape, where I casually write about the games I’ve been playing, specifically now for the month of June in 2017. Some I’ll go into depth on and some I won’t. This is really a way for me catalog the games I’ve been playing as well as put on record my thoughts on the games I’ve been playing. With the rigmarole out of the way, here’s what I’ve been playing! It’s back! Hello everyone. Welcome to my first Gaming Landscape in almost a year. After attempting to replace this with a new feature, Thoughts On, I’ve decided to stick with this format as it worked for me for a very long time. The only change is that I won’t be as strict with my rules as I was before. However, for you the reader, it should be the same as it’s always been. If you’re new here, this is an blog post where I talk about the games I’ve been playing and my impressions of them. So without further delay, here are the games I played between January 1st and January 23rd, 2016: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Dash, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

It’s been a very long time since my last Cinema Landscape and it’ll probably be a while until the next. However, I’m going to take the same approach I’ve been taking with my Gaming Landscape series and just write about the movies I’ve seen that I actually have something to write about and post one of these when I have enough material. So with this bit of house cleaning done, here is my Cinema Landscape as of February 16th, 2016: Hotel Transylvania 2, Sicario, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
It hasn’t been very long since my last Gaming Landscape but I’ve been playing a lot of new games so I’ve already accrued enough experiences to talk about. So here’s my Gaming Landscape as of February 9th, 2016: The Deadly Tower of Monsters, Gemini: Heroes Reborn, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, and Rayman Origins.
Hey everyone! I didn’t play nearly as many games as I did for the last Gaming Landscape and that was on purpose. As the first real Gaming Landscape for me of 2016, I decided to try and stay current with the games I play and January has been a great start in that regard. I played a good amount of new releases these past two and a half weeks, and these are the first collection of games I have an impression of. So here’s my Gaming Landscape as of January 29th, 2016: That Dragon Cancer, Pocket Mortys, and A Boy and His Blob.
Happy New Year! I played a lot of games over my holiday break, mostly because I didn’t worry about finishing anything. I just played whatever I felt like playing at that moment. I also bought several games, so let’s get into it. Hey everybody! Colorwind here and I’ve been playing several different games this past month, including Paper Mario, Yoshi’s Story, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mortal Kombat 9, Smash TV, Assassin’s Creed, and Mario Golf.
Gamers, I come to you today a defeated man. Partially because I had an overwhelming month where I find it hard to concentrate on just one or two games. Mostly because I had to stop playing a game due to technical issues. In fact, please forgive the lack of pictures and polish I typically put into these.
Hey everybody! Colorwind here and I’ve been playing several different games this past month, including Contradiction, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4, Transformers Devastation, Metroid Prime, Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario 3D Land, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Mirror’s Edge.
For the uninitiated, My Gaming Landscape is an informal blog post series where I discuss my thoughts on the games I’ve been playing recently, as well as recent news and events in the video games industry and with me in general. This means that these posts typically contain impressions, editorials, and personal accounts all in one post. Everything that comes to mind and I find worth discussing in my personal landscape of video games will be talked about here, hence the name. So without further ado, here’s My Gaming Landscape.
