This adventure game from this new studio comprised of former thatgamecompany developers plays much like that company’s Journey, but underwater. It’s beautiful art style, orchestral soundtrack, and simple gameplay make for a Zen-like experience that’s a joy to play. However, the controls and camera can occasionally feel a bit counterintuitive, the story is overly vague, and this may not leave much of an impression as it’s lacking in complexity. Overall, it’s lacking compared to its inspiration, but is nevertheless enjoyable for the two or so hours its lasts.
