Allan Rayman: Roadhouse 01 MINI-REVIEW

Format: Studio Album, Long Play (LP)

Genre: Alternative, Alternative R&B

Length: 40:35

Label: Communion Records

Media Types: Digital, Streaming, CD, Vinyl

Release Date: February 24th, 2017

This alternative R&B album biggest strength is Rayman’s unique and powerful voice, as every song feels extra yearnful and emotionally taxing and the lyrics only add to this. The compositions themselves however aren’t as distinct or cohesive, meaning that some songs are uninteresting to hear despite Rayman’s voice. This album should have spent a bit more time in the writing stages. A decent but flawed listen.
