Part 1 of my playthrough of Batman: Arkham Asylum for the PC via Steam. This is one of my favorite games of the 7th generation of consoles and I can’t wait to play through it again! Continue reading “Colorwind Beats ► Batman: Arkham Asylum (PC) | Episode 1 “Welcome To The Madhouse””
This past week has been mostly about my 3DS, specifically Mario Kart 7. I’ve been playing that like crazy. Sometimes for an hour and sometimes whenever I have a few minutes to kill. I kinda hate how much I’m enjoying it since I know it’s not really doing anything innovative. I’m working on the 150cc cup which is freaking hard in this game. It’s because of games like this that my desire for a Wii U is starting to steadily grow.
Oh my god! E3 was so crazy! Definitely one of the better E3 of the past several years. All I wanted to do was play games after that so I managed to play quite a few over the past couple of weeks. I didn’t write a Gaming Landscape last week so this will be what I’ve been playing over the past two weeks as oppose to one week.
Originally a Colorwind Plays video. In this installment of Colorblind, I play a shoot-em-up classic, Thunder Force III for the Sega Genesis via the Kega Fusion emulator. I’ve never played this game and it shows. Watch as Thunder Force III brings me to my knees!

The beginning of the week was all about reviewing games. I’ve been spending time with Ni No Kuni and while it’s getting better, I’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that in my opinion this isn’t that very good of a game. It’s got some really good ideas and I love the Pokemon influence in the combat but the pacing of the story and the game in general just sucks. It really does. A lot of this has to do with the constant reading you need to do. Most of the game isn’t voice acted and it’s a problem. I’ve only logged in about 10 to 12 hours or something like that so I’m going to continue on but this is turning into a slog.
